Historic of the productt
The first panels were conceived and fabricated in 1973, and
at that time, manufacturing was a small-scale production. Since
1989, the production of panels is industrial thanks to the press
with micro-waves system, sole copy in the world. This machine
allows to multiply the production of panels by four with a quotidian
average of 180 m².
Description of the product
It is an element made of different materials which were joined
by gluing in the press with micro-waves system. Materials
employed are timber, glued laminated timber and LVL, the brand
is kerto,
type Q. So all components are wood or derived materials of
wood. Panels are 1,20 meters wide.

Principle of laying
These elements are laid on a timber frame with long bolts
and/or nails or on brickwork with bolts. Elements are joined
together with feather joint (see sketch below). It's possible
to lay 400 m² per day with three persons and one crane.
